REFUND & RETURN POLICY MANIFEST

1. The 30-Day Evaluation Window & Odometer Limit

  • 30-Day Satisfaction Window: We stand behind the engineering of our products and want you to be completely satisfied with your configuration. Fission Cycles™ offers an opportunity for a return or exchange within thirty (30) calendar days from the physical delivery date shown on the carrier tracking manifest.

  • The 10-Mile Odometer Cap: We understand that a premium mid-drive eBike requires an initial physical fitment evaluation. The vehicle may be test-ridden but must register fewer than ten (10) total operational miles on its digital display odometer. Any vehicle returned with 10.0 or more miles registered on the system is completely ineligible for a return or refund and will be treated as a final, permanent sale.

  • Frequency Limitation: To prevent systemic platform abuse, each individual customer or household is strictly eligible for only one (1) vehicle return within a calendar year.

2. Like-“New” Condition & Mandatory Photo Pre-Approval

  • Pristine Condition Requirement: To qualify for a return under this evaluation window, the eBike must be in pristine, like-“new” condition. It must be completely free from any mechanical damage, dirt, mud, trail dust, paint scratches, or tire wear.

  • Mandatory Photographic Evidence: Before any return is authorized, Fission Cycles™ requires customers to provide clear, high-resolution photographs of the requested return. This must include close-ups of the odometer reading, tires, frame, and current overall condition to confirm the model and verify eligibility.

  • Original Packaging Manifest: The product must be returned inside its original, uncompromised factory packaging with all internal protective foam inserts, structural strapping materials, manuals, chargers, keys, and hardware components completely intact. Returns shipped in non-factory boxes will be systematically refused.

3. Freight Obligations & Restocking Deductions

  • The $300 Flat-Rate Return Freight Fee: The customer is fully responsible for all return freight logistics. Fission Cycles™ will deduct a flat $300 return shipping charge from your final refund amount to cover inbound freight courier costs. Fission Cycles must issue your official return shipping label; unapproved drop-offs will be rejected.

  • The 20% Restocking & Inspection Fee: All approved returns are subject to a mandatory 20% restocking fee calculated from the original total purchase price. This fee directly offsets our certified technician mechanical inspection, digital system diagnostics, box depreciation, and physical warehouse restocking logistics.

  • Exclusions & Final Sale Items: Returns are only available for customers ordering within the contiguous 48 United States. All sales are final and strictly non-returnable on individual batteries, accessories, apparel, or any items explicitly marked as “Final Sale.”

4. Shipping Damage vs. Manufacturer Defects

  • Strict 3-Day Freight Damage Window: If your product arrives damaged from transit, this is handled outside of our standard return window. You have three (3) business days from receipt to inform Fission Cycles™ of freight damage with photographic proof of the packaging and hardware. Minor cosmetic scratches do not necessitate a full replacement.

  • Manufacturing Defects: If you believe your bike has a mechanical or electronic manufacturing defect, do not submit a return request. Please submit an official Warranty Request Form so our technical team can address the components under our 12-month framework.

  • Processing Runway: Upon receipt at our dock, please allow up to four (4) weeks for your return to be fully unboxed, technically inspected, and processed. Fission Cycles™ reserves the absolute right to deny a return at any point during the return verification process if the hardware fails to meet these criteria.
