Hi Carol,
For the FM 750x, SO 500, and ST 500 the headlight can be turned on by long pressing the + button on your handle bars controls. If the lights goes back off, check the auto light feature in the setting by holding down the + and – button for 3 seconds. Check to see if the auto-light feature is on or off. If you want to use the headlight while in lighted conditions, turn the auto-light feature off.
