1. Core Hardware Coverage Terms & Limitations

• Limited Lifetime Frame Warranty: Fission eBike frames are warranted against factory defects for the lifetime of the original purchaser, as long as they remain the owner of the Fission eBike. This warranty is strictly non-transferable. Front forks and suspension forks do not carry a lifetime warranty.

• Component Framework & Mileage Cap: Beyond the lifetime frame warranty, Fission Cycles™ warrants all factory-installed electrical and mechanical components—including the mid-drive motor, display systems, controller, and wiring harnesses—to be free from manufacturing defects for twelve (12) months from the original date of purchase, or up to 1,000 total operational miles, whichever comes first. High-mileage or commercial wear beyond 1,000 miles within the first year is excluded from factory coverage.

• Mandatory 30-Day Registration Window: To activate your coverage, the original owner must register the bike using its official frame serial number within 30 days of physical delivery. Failure to register the hardware configuration within this 30-day window completely and permanently voids all future warranty claims.

2. Operational Conditions & Exclusions

• Expected Lifespan & Riding Styles: Misuse, neglect, lack of maintenance, or operating in extreme conditions and climates will significantly reduce vehicle lifespan. This warranty does not extend to any failures associated with extreme riding styles, jumping, crashes, or competition.

• Battery Restrictions & Environmental Water Damage: The 1-year battery warranty protects strictly against manufacturing defects. It does not cover damage resulting from electrical power surges, using non-approved chargers, improper off-season storage, or internal water damage/corrosion caused by full vehicle submersion or exposure to high-pressure wash systems.

• Unauthorized Modifications: Any installation of a third-party powerplant (motor electric or internal combustion), unauthorized battery pack, or aftermarket electrical modifications immediately voids this warranty.

• Wear & Tear: Components such as brakes, tires, tubes, chains, grips, and cables are not warranted against normal wear and tear.

3. Labor and Shipping Limits (Warranty vs. Retail Purchases)

• Right of Determination: At its sole discretion, Fission Cycles™ reserves the absolute right to determine whether any component is covered under this framework, and whether user error, neglect, or abuse caused the failure. Fission Cycles™ requires video and photographic submissions to review, diagnose, and inspect each claim.

• Replacement Parts Clause: Fission Cycles™ reserves the right to fulfill approved warranty claims using new, factory-tested, or lightly used/refurbished operational parts at its sole discretion.

• Labor and Shipping Limits: Fission Cycles™ will supply approved warranty replacement components for covered manufacturing defects (such as the frame, motor, controller, or battery system) and ship them to the owner at no charge. This complimentary shipping policy strictly handles verified warranty fulfillment and completely excludes retail out-of-pocket parts purchases or orders made through our online store. Furthermore, this policy strictly excludes standard wear-and-tear consumables (including but not limited to tires, tubes, brake pads, chains, and cables).

• Inbound Freight Diagnostics: If a core component must be sent back to Fission Cycles™ for physical diagnostic inspection to determine warranty eligibility, the owner assumes full responsibility for those inbound freight shipping costs. If a local bicycle shop is required for a mechanical repair, Fission Cycles™ will only cover associated labor fees if the exact scope of service and labor rate are agreed upon in writing prior to the repair.

• Liability & Implied Warranties: This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied. No implication of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose has been made by Fission Cycles™. Fission Cycles™ disclaims all liability for incidental, consequential, medical, or personal injury damages resulting from the use, operation, or failure of this product. Users assume all structural risks. Always have your bike periodically inspected by a qualified technician.

4. Freight & Shipping Damage Policy

• 48-Hour Inspection Window: Products must be inspected immediately upon delivery. Freight damage claims are highly time-sensitive. You must document any packaging or vehicle damage with clear photographic evidence and notify Fission Cycles™ within 48 hours of delivery by emailing finance@fissioncycles.com.

• Major structural shipping defects will be remediated, but minor cosmetic scratches or frame paint chips caused by transit do not necessitate a full vehicle replacement or refund.
